Because I wanted to express my thoughts (that happens on a forum) and didn't want to make another thread about 'throwing weapons' as it already seemed to exist when I used search, namely this one.
But I can make a new one if you want

No disrespect meant Gun.
Wait, you actually used search? Most people don't do that, they just throw random things at their keyboard and hit the submit thread button. So I can't be mad for you actually doing that.

Good Idea on the dancing daggers bit. Only reasonable thing I see in thread. Maybe there is a reason ANet made it a spell? Would it be even more powerful a skill as a ranged attack?
Only way I can see warriors get a ranged attack skill is if it disables you from attacking for x amount of time (you threw it away... and its your weapon)

And I forgot. Ranged Assassin attacks would require daggers, and other danged attacks would require spears or bows.
None would require axes and the like.
